Biographical Statement
I have participated in over 100 mediations, mostly as counsel for litigants. I have successfully served as a mediator in a few cases, and have attended Multnomah County mediation training. I am a former Chair of the Oregon State Bar Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, Securities Regulation Sectio and a past president of the Federal Bar Association, Oregon Chapter.
I have practiced law for 40 years, mostly in the securities litigation and arbitration areas. Since 2020, I significantly reduced my litigation practice and have spent more time as an arbitrator. I am also a part-time adjunct faculty member at Cornell Law School, where I teach in the securities arbitration clinic.
