Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Advisory

If you are currently experiencing a COVID-19 infection or have experienced an exposure or symptoms, please follow applicable CDC guidance.  For those who are isolating pursuant to CDC guidance due to a COVID-19 infection, please do not enter the courthouse. Clerk’s Office staff are available to assist you by phone.

Filings are accepted electronically, by mail, and by deposit in drop boxes located in the lobbies of the Portland, Eugene, and Medford courthouses. No person may pay a fee by leaving the payment in any of the Court's drop boxes, however. For those who are unable to come to the courthouse, fees paid by check or money order may be delivered via U.S. mail. Registered users of CM/ECF and persons applying to practice before this Court may pay filing fees using a credit card via Pay.gov.

The Court is scheduling some hearings by videoteleconference and teleconference. Unless otherwise permitted by the presiding judge, case participants who receive teleconference or videoteleconference connection information from the Court for the purpose of participating in a proceeding may not re-distribute the connection information. Members of the public who would like to attend a remote proceeding by telephone may call the District Clerk’s Office in the appropriate Division for information about how to dial in. Local Civil Procedure Rule 83-13 prohibits recording proceedings conducted remotely by teleconference, videoconference, or by any other means of electronic communication.
