The Judges of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon have appointed Amy E. Potter as a full-time U.S. Magistrate Judge for the District of Oregon, Eugene Division.  Judge Potter is scheduled to be sworn in and will begin her service on September 2, 2025.  Judge Potter most recently was a Principal at Angeli & Calfo LLC.  Prior to Angeli & Calfo LLC, she served the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon as Assistant U.S. Attorney.  Judge Potter was also an Associate at Latham & Watkins L.L.P in Washington D.C., and clerked for the Honorable J. Harvie Wilkinson III, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit after receiving her law degree from the University of Virgina School of Law.
